Thank You. Thank You. Thank You
Doctors, Nurses, Healthcare workers and First Responders.
Thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and Healthcare workers who are risking their lives to help others.
These people are worried that they may inadvertently infect their own loved ones when they go home but they turn up every day, unselfishly and bravely.
Thank you to the Doctors and nurses who warned us about how pervasive this virus is and the toll it is taking on all healthcare workers.
Thank you to the Doctors and Nurses who are doing their best even though there is a lack of equipment to fight this outbreak and how under prepared we are.
Some doctors I have spoken to predict that July and August will be the worst months in WA at the peak of our winter, the usual flu and cold season compounded by virus cases.
Mental health issues will be compounded by the winter weather and the fact that no one will be able to travel anywhere to relieve the boredom of a prolonged lockdown compounded by the uncertainty of what is next?
Police and Armed Services Personnel.
Thank you to the Police and Armed services Personnel who are the front line in preventing a break down in social order.
Thank you for putting your own lives at risk so that the rest of can live in safety.
Thank you, for being separated from your own families in these uncertain times.
As a great country, Australians (all of us) no matter what colour, race or belief, we need to have more patience, more compassion, more understanding, more tolerance more understanding of all people.
We all should bear in mind that we are not stuck at home, We are safe at home, by staying at home we are being safe and keeping others safe from infection.
